Terms Of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms govern your purchase from warmfell.com. Where a clause rests on a statutory right, we say which statute — so you can check us rather than take our word for it.

By placing an order you agree to these terms.

We are an online shop with no retail premises. The address above is for correspondence — it is not open to visitors and returns cannot be dropped off there.

Our shop runs on a third-party e-commerce platform. The contract of sale is between you and Warmfell LTD alone; the platform provider is not a party to it.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to warmfell.com, to every order placed through it, and to your correspondence with our customer service team.

Our Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy form part of this agreement. Where a summary here and the specific policy differ on a point, the specific policy governs that point.

3. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery, billing and contact details you provide. We may cancel an order where those details are incomplete or cannot be verified.

If you hold an account with us, keeping your login details secure is your responsibility.

4. Products and product information

We describe products as accurately as we can. Wattage, dimensions, thermostat type and safety marking are published as the manufacturer confirms them. Where a figure is not confirmed, we leave it out rather than estimate.

Colours and finishes render differently from one screen to another. Minor variation in shade or finish is not a fault.

Product listings are an invitation to treat, not an offer. We may discontinue a product or limit quantities per customer.

The instruction manual supplied with the product takes precedence over anything on the product page.

5. Electrical safety and use

Our products are built for UK mains supply, 230 V / 50 Hz, fitted with a BS 1363 three-pin plug.

A 2,000 W heater draws roughly 8.7 amps. In practice that means:

  • Plug it directly into a wall socket. Most manufacturers prohibit extension leads and multi-way adaptors outright, and a coiled or thin lead carrying that current gets hot.
  • Check the plug fuse. A 13 A fuse is correct for a heater of this rating; never fit a higher-rated fuse than the manufacturer specifies.
  • Do not run a heater on the same socket circuit as other high-draw appliances.
  • Never cover a heater, and keep it clear of curtains, bedding and furniture.
  • Products rated for dry indoor use must not be used in a bathroom or outdoors. Bathroom use requires a product specifically rated for it.

Our products carry UKCA or CE marking as stated on the product page.

6. Fixed installation

Where a product requires fixed wiring, the work must be carried out by a competent, registered electrician and notified where Part P of the Building Regulations requires it.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from installation by an unregistered person, or from use contrary to the manual.

7. Prices and VAT

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at 20%. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay — there are no additional charges at delivery.

Promotional prices apply while the promotion runs or while stock lasts. Where we show a reference price, it is our own previous selling price.

The price displayed when you completed your order is the price for that order.

8. Placing an order

Submitting your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send your order confirmation by email.

We may decline an order — for stock reasons, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or where the order is evidently for resale. If you have already paid, we refund in full.

No confirmation within a couple of hours? Check your spam folder first.

9. Changing or cancelling before dispatch

Orders are released to the warehouse as soon as they are confirmed. You have 5 minutes to change or cancel, by emailing support@warmfell.com.

After that the order is in processing and cannot be pulled back. Your statutory cancellation right in section 14 still applies once the goods arrive.

10. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order, using the methods shown at checkout.

Card payments are handled by a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor with strong customer authentication. Card details never pass through our systems — we receive a confirmation, the card type and the last four digits.

If a payment is declined or reversed, we may cancel the order.

11. Delivery

Processing and transit times are set out in our Delivery Policy.

If we cannot deliver within the time agreed — or within 30 days where no time was agreed — you may treat the contract as at an end and receive a full refund, or agree a new delivery date with us.

The law: Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 28.

Parcels refused or left unclaimed and returned to us are refunded less the actual outbound and return carriage and any carrier charge.

12. Risk and ownership

Risk passes to you when the goods come into your physical possession, or into the possession of someone you have named to receive them — not when we hand the parcel to the carrier.

The law: Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 29.

13. Shipping protection

Shipping protection is an optional add-on at checkout covering parcels lost, damaged or stolen in transit, giving you a replacement without pursuing a carrier claim yourself.

It is entirely optional and appears as its own line before you pay. The fee is not refunded once the order has been dispatched, including on a later return, because the service has been provided.

14. Your right to cancel — 14 days

You may cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you, or someone you name, receives the goods.

To cancel, email support@warmfell.com with a clear statement, or use the form in section 17. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

You may handle the goods as you would in a shop — unpack them, look at them and check they work. If you handle them beyond that, we may deduct from your refund for any diminished value. For a heater, switching it on briefly to confirm it works is fine; running it through a cold snap is not.

We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of your evidence of return, whichever is earlier.

The law: Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

15. Our voluntary 30-day returns

On top of your statutory 14 days, we voluntarily give you 30 days from delivery to change your mind.

For the voluntary period the goods must be unused, complete and in their original packaging. This is an extra from us and takes nothing away from your statutory rights, which apply regardless.

16. Returning goods

Email support@warmfell.com before sending anything back. We approve the return by email and send the return address in that reply.

Our returns facility is in the United States. The address is never our correspondence address in Leeds and is not published here.

You pay the cost of returning the goods and you choose the carrier — we do not issue prepaid return labels. Use a tracked service and keep the proof; we cannot refund an untracked return that goes missing.

Refunds are made to the original payment method, within 7 working days of receipt and inspection and in any event within the statutory 14 days.

No restocking or handling fee applies.

17. Model cancellation form

You do not have to use this form — an email is enough — but it is here if you prefer it.

To Warmfell LTD, Merrion Way, Leeds LS2 8NG, support@warmfell.com:

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods:

Ordered on / received on:

Name of consumer:

Address of consumer:

Order number:

Date:

(Signature of consumer, only if this form is notified on paper.)

18. Damaged, wrong or missing items

Inspect your delivery on arrival. If the outer carton is visibly damaged, something is missing, or you received the wrong product, contact us within 3 working days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the product, the outer carton and the shipping label. The photographs support our carrier claim; without them it cannot be filed.

Confirmed cases are resolved by sending you a replacement at no cost to you, with nothing to send back at your own expense.

This time limit covers what is apparent on arrival. A fault appearing later is dealt with under section 19.

19. Faulty goods

Goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

  • Within 30 days of delivery you have the short-term right to reject faulty goods and obtain a full refund.
  • After 30 days you may require repair or replacement. If that fails, or is not carried out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may claim a price reduction or exercise the final right to reject.
  • Within the first 6 months a fault is presumed to have been present at delivery unless we show otherwise.
  • You may bring a claim for up to 6 years from delivery in England and Wales, or 5 years in Scotland.

The law: Consumer Rights Act 2015, and the Limitation Act 1980.

We pay the cost of returning faulty goods.

This does not cover fair wear and tear, damage from misuse, lack of maintenance, improper installation, or damage from power surges.

20. Manufacturer guarantees

Where a product carries a manufacturer's guarantee, its length and cover are stated on the product page and in the documentation supplied. A guarantee is in addition to your rights under section 19 and does not replace them.

21. Waste electrical equipment

Electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste — that is what the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means.

As a distance seller of electrical equipment we offer free take-back of your old equipment on a like-for-like basis when you buy a new product from us. Contact customer service to arrange it, or use your local authority's household waste recycling centre.

The law: Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013.

22. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

Marketing email is sent only to those who have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Order confirmations and dispatch notices are sent regardless, because they form part of the contract.

23. Intellectual property

The content of warmfell.com — text, product photography, graphics, logos and design — belongs to Warmfell LTD or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may save or print material for your own personal, non-commercial use. Copying, adaptation, redistribution or commercial use requires our written permission.

If you believe material on our site infringes your copyright, email us a description of the work and where it appears and we will review it.

24. Reviews and content you submit

If you submit a review, photograph or suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use and publish it, including in marketing. You keep ownership of what you created.

You are responsible for ensuring the material is yours and contains nothing unlawful or misleading.

We do not publish fabricated reviews, and we do not remove a review merely because it is negative.

25. Acceptable use and site availability

You may not use our site to break the law, distribute malicious code, scrape content by automated means, circumvent security, or impersonate another person. Orders for commercial resale require our written agreement.

We aim to keep the shop available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates and faults may make the site briefly unavailable; confirmed orders are unaffected.

Our site may link to or display third-party content. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them.

26. Liability

Our liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something has gone wrong, tell us first. We acknowledge complaints within one working day and aim to resolve them within 14 days; where it needs longer we explain why.

We are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. If we cannot resolve your complaint between us, you remain free to take the matter to court, and you can get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice.

The law: Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes Regulations 2015, which require us to tell you this either way.

28. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the last-updated date at the top.

Changes do not apply to orders already placed. The terms on this page when you ordered are the terms for that order.

29. Governing law and general

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, the law of that part of the UK applies and you may bring proceedings in its courts. As a consumer you may always bring proceedings in the courts local to you.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

These terms, together with the Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
